STOP DREAMING, MAKE A MOVE. - Ms. TITILOPE ADEKOYA, TISENNAH'S TOUCH CEO

I am very happy seeing Young Minds stand up for something,  I am self motivated myself but Ms. Titilope inspired me even more when I met her.  While she was working on her client in a photo studio she had come for her photoshoot, I made a comment : "this make up job is not easy o", and her response tells me so much about her already.  She responded and said "Yes,  it's not easy,  if you want to achieve the best".  That made me see through her as one who will go extra mile for her customer's satisfaction and delivery.  She is no doubt a visionary young lady.  Read below what she has to say about her challenges,  progress and the future of her business, Tisennah's Touch.  CAN WE MEET YOU ?  I’m Ms. Titilope Adekoya, CEO of Tisennah’s Touch TELL US ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION AND FAMILY BACKGROUND I’m an undergraduate of University of Lagos, Faculty of Art, Department of English, 400L. 2nd in a family of 5 with 2 ste...

YOU CAN NEITHER KEEP NOR HOLD A MAN - NWAGU NNEKA

You cannot keep a man. You cannot hold a man. If you like slay, give him incredible sex, do the unbelievable, give him children, give him money. If a man doesn't want you, he doesn't. Give yourself some sense and know when to drop it! I remember a conversation I had with some male friends in camp. As usual i was the only girl among five boys đŸ˜‚. One told us about this girl in his university that gave him 'everything' yet he didn't just want her. Money, sex, cooked, washed, rented apartment for the both of them. But he said he didn't just want her. Another guy called him a big fool. To him, sacrifice is a true test of love. After all love is just feelings. I tell you that even Mr A meets the one he loves, he'll still cheat. If he still wants to cheat on you with all your degree of amazing, hotness and spirituality, he'll cheat. And yes, He can still cheat if he loves you (painful but true). Stop trying to hold a man. Stop checking phone. Stop...

LIVING IN THE MOMENT - CALEB S. OKEREKE

These days I make a conscious effort to be present in my own life. And by so doing I am more present in the life of others too. Its in the little things. My first inclination in priceless moments in recent times is no more to take pictures, or to make snaps, I think of those things but they are secondary and when I eventually do them, it means I have taken in enough of that moment. When I meet people these days, I try to stay away from my phone as much as possible, when people visit me, I put it away. When I have to talk to my Dad, I remind myself consciously to put the phone away. When loved ones want to Skype or make a WhatsApp call, I don't feel up to it, I am probably tired, I probably want to sleep, but I say Okay. I do not want to wake up one day and realise that I have been too engrossed living for others to be present in my own life. I remember someone going through my phone gallery and asking, "Caleb where are all the pictures you took in Kampala?" and t...

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI'S NEW YEAR SPEECH TO NIGERIANS

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI'S NEW YEAR SPEECH TO NIGERIANS I join my fellow citizens this morning to welcome and celebrate the New Year 2018. This year promises to be pivotal in our quest for CHANGE. Unfortunately, I am saddened to acknowledge that for many this Christmas and New Year holidays have been anything but merry and happy. Instead of showing love, companionship and charity, some of our compatriots chose this period to inflict severe hardship on us all by creating unnecessary fuel scarcity across the country. The consequence was that not many could travel and the few who did had to pay exorbitant transport fares. This is unacceptable given that NNPC had taken measures to ensure availability at all depots. I am determined to get to the root of this collective blackmail of all Nigerians and ensure that whichever groups are behind this manipulated hardship will be prevented from doing so again. Such unpatriotism will not divert the Administration from the course...

QUADOOWEAR CEO, ALLI QUADRI WRITES A NEW YEAR 2018 MESSAGE ON LEADERSHIP

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018 !  Time is an illusion, in reality I believe less in all these happy new year things, but it's good still,  looking at it from a perspective that it helps us to have a sense of orderliness, new beginnings,  allows us to celebrate and get closer together with our loved ones after a busy year all long and a feeling of freshness. Indeed if you can have all these feelings everyday, you can call it your new year,  if you can have these feelings every month,  it's your new year.  However, new year celebrations  makes us feel,  every new dawn should make us feel the same too. The miracle of waking up to life after a short death we call sleep is amazing, I don't see any other miracle bigger that that. 24 hours is the greatest gift human begins can have, but like we always do,  we forget mostly about the little things,  because they are little,  we think so much about the big things because they are big, what we ...
