WHY THEY CALL ME BOOTYGODDESS.- BIO

Rap music is her calling, she does it very well. Bio is a very talented, beautiful and 'fully loaded' young lady, the type Dbanj will call Miss Endowed or Eja nla.

I appreciate when female folks are getting busy, especially when they have the courage to compete or be in the industry that is believed to be a men. Don't get it twisted, her creativity, delivery and swags will get you jaw dropped. Well, as for the reason they call her Bootygoddess, I believe her picture says it all, you need no expo for that.

In this chat with QuadoowearTvBlog, Bio tells us how far she has gone in her music journey and why she believes she is the next big thing. Enjoy.

CAN WE MEET YOU?

My real is Olayinka Osituga. Stage name is Bio.

HOW DID YOU GET YOUR STAGE NAME?

I  got my stage name from Biology which means Life.
B.I.O also represents Bold and Intellectually Outstanding.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND AND CHILDHOOD

I attended Bishop James Primary School Yisa, Suleja,  Niger State. Then went to Kuje Secondary School but completed my secondary education at Queens Science Secondary School, Suleja,  Niger State. I am a graduate of Theatre Art, Unibuja. I am from Ogun State.

HOW DID YOU START DOING MUSIC ?

I started back then at Unibuja in my Hundred Level. So back then I used to go by the  name Bootygoddess, I have been doing music now professionally for seven years.

WHY MUSIC?

I choose music because I was a poet right from secondary school. Getting to the university I officially  recorded my first single titled   Bootygoddess. Then I was appointed Zain Telecommunication student ambassador.

WHAT CAN YOU DO ASIDE MUSIC?

Apart from music, I am a cinematographer. I shoot musical videos, I am also a professional actor.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BEST AND WORSE PERFORMANCES

My best performance was at Lagos State Music and Food festival earlier this year 2017.
My worst performance I think was back then at the Open Air Theatre, Unibuja where a course mate had to pull me away from the stage.

CAN YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST BREAKTHROUGH PRODUCTIONS THAT MADE PEOPLE START BELIEVING IN YOU ?

I believe it was back then at Unibuja when Nescafe came and they where looking for a female rapper and the girls had to carry me to the stage. I was just standing there unknown to me that I can no longer hide. That was when I realized that my work is being accepted

WHAT LESSON HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT LIFE THROUGH YOUR MUSIC HUSTLE ?

You have to be yourself. I also learned that music is a tool for communication and if people don't understand your  music you are not singing.

WHO IS YOUR MENTOR?

I have Beyonce, Missy Elliot and Nicky Minaj.

HOW DID YOU CONVINCE YOUR PARENTS ABOUT DOING MUSIC ?

They are cool because I just find way to appease them somehow.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION?

I am a poet, so I write when am happy and thinking can also inspire me.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SONG SO FAR?

Mawobe and Alatadima. Because the both songs gave me acceptance. People called me by name of the songs. Especially Alatadima.

ANY COLLABORATIONS?

No serious collaboration for now, hopefully in future I will work with Reminisc, CDQ, Tu Baba and Cynthia Morgan.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCER?

My favorite producer is @jolyzbeat.

WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU WORKING ON PRESENTLY?

Presently I just shot the videos to Mawobe, Alatadima and Feelings.  Though still working recording more single like.

WHEN ARE YOU DROPPING AN ALBUM?

Soon.  Though earlier dis year, I drop my EP titled Bio Determined and Focused on MTN Music Plus. So still in the studio working.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR LOVE LIFE.

Wow! I am basically not searching but am single. Nothing exciting but just trying to get my song out there.

Nigeria will make it. If the youth are involved in politics and if we are patriotic enough.
