Life is all about giving, it is an honourable thing to do, a duty for all of us, life itself is a gift given and at the end of every life is a giving up of whatever the soul has acquired.  Regardless of the kind of life that soul chose to live, wether good or bad, successful or not, rich, famous and fulfilled or poor, you shall give away all you have. Most human beings find it very difficult to give freely and willingly for whatever reason best known to them,  some others give only when they are asked while just a few give cheerfully, willingly and happily.  We have the opportunity to choose where we wish to belong among the above listed group of people only when we are alive, but what do you do when you die? Do you have any other choice but one? At death, we cannot hide from giving away all that we have, you only have the chance to decide how you want to give it, through makinh a will, maybe by giving to charity, your children, or to some unknown persons, so...

These days I make a conscious effort to be present in my own life. And by so doing I am more present in the life of others too. Its in the little things. My first inclination in priceless moments in recent times is no more to take pictures, or to make snaps, I think of those things but they are secondary and when I eventually do them, it means I have taken in enough of that moment. When I meet people these days, I try to stay away from my phone as much as possible, when people visit me, I put it away. When I have to talk to my Dad, I remind myself consciously to put the phone away. When loved ones want to Skype or make a WhatsApp call, I don't feel up to it, I am probably tired, I probably want to sleep, but I say Okay. I do not want to wake up one day and realise that I have been too engrossed living for others to be present in my own life.
