Encouraging someone to be tougher than the tough times really depends on the person in question, I said this because for the little time I have spent on earth I have noticed different kind of people, some people are not afraid to dream big and be the best they can be, which makes them face different situation, yet they look forward to even worse situations that will slowly and progressively make them better with time.  In the other hand, some people are so full of doubt and fear. They will never dream big in life, they enjoy their situation and condition, they see life as unfair and see themselves as unfortunate, out of ignorant of who they really are and the power they have over their situations, they continue to believe the lies.  These two kinds of people have different mindset and so they respond to "Be tougher than rough times " differently.
