Encouraging someone to be tougher than the tough times really depends on the person in question, I said this because for the little time I have spent on earth I have noticed different kind of people, some people are not afraid to dream big and be the best they can be, which makes them face different situation, yet they look forward to even worse situations that will slowly and progressively make them better with time. In the other hand, some people are so full of doubt and fear. They will never dream big in life, they enjoy their situation and condition, they see life as unfair and see themselves as unfortunate, out of ignorant of who they really are and the power they have over their situations, they continue to believe the lies.
These two kinds of people have different mindset and so they respond to "Be tougher than rough times " differently. So, like Jesus, i will not waste my time addressing this message to those who have no faith, rather, i am preaching this to those who believe in themselves and are willing to improve on a daily bases.
Be tougher than tough times, for life is full of challenges, ups and downs, and also, good times and bad times. In raining season some people are blessed with it; such as farmers, while some see it as unfortunate, yet nature has a way to favour everyone with both raining and dry season yearly.
If you have a dream to be great in life, there is only one way through- the way of toughness. The road that leads to greatness is rough and the traveler has to be tough. Greatness, success and achievements are no destinations but a journey that is never ending, the journey is of daily inputs and outcomes. The journey starts immediately you had your first breath of life and it ends only at death, although only a few of mankind make it through to the end, most die on the journey- giving up their dreams because of tough times and challenges- even before a physical death.
Anything you go through in life, you are not the first person to experience such, there is nothing new under the sun. If you cannot find a case similar to yours around you, search the world, before you search long you will see a lot of cases similar. A man usually is not faced by any challenge except that which he can overcome (Quran 2:286) (1 Corinthians 10:13). Fear is the greatest enemy of man and faith is the most trusted friend. Fear melts your toughness and cause you to give up but faith helps to strengthen you, builds you up and gives you hope to overcome the challenges of the day for a better tommorow. Believe in yourself, stay strong, stay tough, don't give up and never say never!
