To find one's path is to find one's purpose and destiny, to do the unpopular, to be different from the crowd, to go at your own pace, to live love on your own terms and align your disordered self with the perfect order in the universe, to live a life that other people will appreciate, admire and want to follow. Finding your path in life is to let your light shine so brigt that the people will see it and glorify your Father in heaven (Matt. 5: 16). Finding your path makes your original, different and unique. You follow "the narrow gate" (Matt. 7:13). To find your path, you must go in opposite direction to the world.
Man makes no major effect in life his early stage, he is being acted upon. Man's early life is mostly spent on learning his environment which is still strange to him and continues to marvel him. He looks at his surrounding in awe and amazement of how plants grow, how living beings become pregnant and deliver their youngs, and why people die, a lot of philosophical and scientific issues puzzles this little man's mind, all he does is to learn through this times how to survive.
At this early stage, he lives his life obeying authorities and laws all around him that has been existing before he was born; family rules, school rules, religious laws, community laws, tribal customs and government laws. These laws that keep him "pressured down" had been created by older men who also followed certain laws while they were young. But this is soon over as he enters another phase of life called adulthood.
Adulthood is like a "rebirth". It is so because it is very different from childhood, a whole new opportunity is given in life where by you can do what you wish. At adulthood, you will discover that the freedom that you greatly seek is here, its actually too much freedom than necessary. But soon you will realise that this freedom also comes with great responsibilities that will surely wear you out, and soon you realise that the freedom is fully replaced by the responsibilities.
Now you are in the position to create laws that everyone under your influence will follow, just like you followed those laws when you were younger. This is actually when life begins for you, before now, you were only learning and preparing to live.
Meanwhile, only those who can notice the opportunities that adulthood brings can we actually say have lived. The chance of a "rebirth" that is given to every man at adulthood is the realest gift man can have. I can explain this rebirth simply as saying: Man as a baby (1st birth) with authorities over him, and man as an adult (2nd birth). It's not a matter of physical birth but that of grace of maturity.
Adulthood (2nd birth) presents man with the opportunity to be in authority as opposed to under authority, whatever you do here has great effect in your life and environment whether one is aware or not, it is however beneficial for man to realise and thoughtfully discover this truth.
At adulthood, you can make your choices about the food you eat, the kind of work you do, where you stay, who to marry, your lifestyle and the path you want to follow in life. Do you want to be a man of value and honour of a materialist? Righteous or sinful? Clean or dirty? Faithfull or unfaithful?
Jesus Christ spoke about this "rebirth"/adulthood/2nd birth as being "Born Again". A man at adulthood who is unaware of this great and rear opportunity will surely waste it or misuse it. But man is not really a man neither has he lived until he becomes fully aware of this hidden treasure, finds it, and makes use of it in ways that will benefit him and his environment.
Regardless of a man's chosen field, occupation, personality or conditions, he should make tireless effort to find his path and align himself with the perfect order in life, and live to serve others. This perfect order is God Almighty!
