RAMADAM OR NOT, HAKEEM OLAJUNWON WAS A DOMINANT FORCE IN NBA

Had Hakeem Olajuwon been playing basketball in today's media-saturated world of social networking and 24-hour rolling news, he would be one of the most recognisable athletes on the planet. Instead, one of the greatest centres to play in the NBA was able to shun the limelight, dedicate himself to Islam and retire to a life of relative obscurity. Olajuwon was the No 1 draft pick of 1984, selected ahead of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley. Yet while these achievements are remarkable in themselves, it was Olajuwon's ability to play at a high level during Ramadan that caught the eye. You have a list of candidates you believe are better qualified for positions but you are too selfish & proud to support them with your time to simply cast your vote in

5 Reasons You Aren’t Rich (Yet) -Robert Kiyosaki

5 Reasons You Aren’t Rich (Yet) Written by Kim Kiyosaki Why doesn’t your bank account reflect your growing financial literacy? The road to financial freedom is not easy. As soon as you set off on this path, you run into roadblock after roadblock. Many people become disheartened and give up right away. Others plug along for a while, but without results, they soon give up. Only a tenacious few can push forward and become truly rich. I often meet people who have been following the path for a while and don’t understand why they aren’t any closer to financial freedom. They’ve read the books, taken courses, and can read and interpret the financial column of the newspaper with ease. Many of them approach me asking, “I’m financially literate, but I still can’t seem to increase my income. What am I doing wrong?” My answer to them is: “It might not be something you’re doing, but something you’re feeling that’s holding you back.” Our emotions and behaviors dictate our
